The Union Database (UDB) is the EU Commission’s system for tracking renewable fuels under RED II/RED III. It ensures traceability, prevents double counting and verifies sustainability claims for fuels placed on the EU market. UDB is independent of ISCC. ISCC EU certified companies involved in supplying fuel into the EU are required to report their UDB-relevant transactions.
